BEING AN ELK
Elks come from all walks of life and welcome everyone into their organization. Men and women from across a wide generational swath find a home at the Elks for a variety of reasons, all rooted in the ideals of service to the community in a variety of forms and functions.
MEMBERSHIP & SERVICE

The Boulder Elks have long been rooted within the fabric of service the entire Boulder community. For more than 100 years, the Elks have dedicated their time, energies and monies to hundreds of programs and thousands of individuals across the Boulder County area.
Becoming an Elk provides you with an opportunity to engage with the community you live in in a way that is personal and unique. From spearheading initiatives that are important to you, to volunteering into preexisting committees already doing good deeds, the Boulder Elks gives both individuals and families a portal into making a positive difference and impact within their own community.
Additionally, membership in the Elks gives you a chance to socialize, engage and participate in Lodge activities built around friendship, congeniality and brotherhood. These are benefits you can't reap when donating money through a cell phone app.
To be eligible for membership in Boulder Elks Lodge #566 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, you must be a citizen of the United States over the age of 21.
You must be sponsored by a member of the Elks Lodge and reside in the jurisdiction of the Boulder Lodge.
