The Benevolent and Protective order of Elks have been a part of the city of Boulder for more than 100 years. We are a Fraternal Service Organization, recognized by the Federal Government as a 501(c)(8) non-profit. Our common mission is to instill the principles of Charity, Justice, Human Love and Fidelity.
HISTORIC & RELEVANT
Established in 1900, the Boulder Elks Lodge #566 was originally located on the corner of Spruce & 13th Street in downtown Boulder. Today, the Boulder Elks Lodge is a 30,000 square foot community center on 28th Street in north Boulder, home to one of the finest and most popular outdoor pools in Boulder and the ever-popular summertime Friday, Poolside BBQ parties.
The Boulder Elks Lodge provides weekly dinners and entertainment, meeting venues for youth organizations, bridge clubs, book clubs, musicians and more. In the summer months, the Lodge proudly sponsors the Boulder Elks Swim Team and opens it's pool to the community.
The Boulder Elks Lodge provides RV parking for traveling Elks, medical equipment loans to those in need, and scholarships for local public school students.
